When the first flush of spring growth appears on your well-pruned roses, it’s time to implement a regular rose spraying programme.
At Great Garden Workz, we can help you implement either a chemical or organic rose spraying programme throughout the growing season. We can also advise and carry out spraying after your winter pruning, which will help protect your precious plants when early growth emerges.
Why spray roses?
Rose spraying helps protect your roses from mildew (such as downy mildew, black spot, powdery mildew and rust) and pests (such as aphids, caterpillars, mites, and scale insects). Spraying is especially important during pruning to prevent disease.
We offer two types of rose spraying programmes:
- Preventative rose spraying. By spraying your roses at the correct times of year, we can help you prevent attack from disease and pests.
- Targeted rose spraying. If the worst happens and your roses come under attack from disease or insects, we can implement a targeted rose spraying programme to get your blooms back on track to good health.
